The Tribunal having considered the Complaint dated 21 July 2023 and amended on 28 February 2025 at the instance of the Council of the Law Society of Scotland, Atria One, 144 Morrison Street, Edinburgh against John David Mair, formerly of NEGO8 Ltd, 5 Whittingehame Drive, Glasgow; Finds the Respondent guilty of Professional Misconduct singly and in cumulo in respect their breaches of Rules B1.2, B6.2.3, B6.4.1, B6.7.3(a), B6.8.1, B6.8.2, B6.13.2 and B6.18.7 of the Practice Rules 2011; Orders that the name of the Respondent be Struck Off the Roll of Solicitors in Scotland; Finds the Respondent liable in the expenses of the Complainers and of the Tribunal including expenses of the Clerk, chargeable on a time and line basis as the same may be taxed by the Auditor of the Court of Session on an agent and client, client paying basis in terms of Chapter Three of the last published Law Society’s Table of Fees for general business with a unit rate of £14.00; and Directs that publicity will be given to this decision and that this publicity shall include the name of the Respondent together with details of all interlocutors and notes issued by the Tribunal during the course of proceedings.
