COVID-19
All Tribunal hearings in March, April and May 2020 were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Most cases were sisted.
Lockdown restrictions remain in place in Scotland. Even when these are relaxed, social distancing measures are likely to be required for some time. Until meetings at our usual venues resume, Tribunal hearings will take place “virtually” by video conference.
Cases will be recalled from sist and set down for procedural hearings in July 2020. More detailed information about these procedural hearings will be sent to parties in due course. At those procedural hearings, the Tribunal will assess which cases or parts of cases could be dealt with by video conference.
Guidance on virtual tribunals for parties and the public and media can be found here.
